Long-standing dedicated physician and community member, Dr. John Fothergill opened North Country Medical & Wellness private practice in Colebrook in December 2017. The mission to deliver the best medical care and patient experiences with a focus on treating the whole patient to achieve the best outcomes and a better quality of life.
Keri Stiles, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Keri has a Master’s in Nursing from Southern NH University. She received her post-master’s certificate, Family Nurse Practitioner from U-Mass, Boston. Keri is ANCC certified Family Nurse Practitioner and is also certified to do DOT physicals.
Prior to becoming an APRN she worked as a Registered Nurse in long-term care, residential care for children with disabilities, and urology physician’s office.
Keri is local to the North Country. She enjoys spending time with her family, taking care of her flower gardens, and watching racing. Keri is available to see patients 4 years old and up.
Samantha Kilson, RN
Samantha has been a Nursing Professional for 20 years. She is a Certified Nurse Executive(RNC-NE) and a member of the AANAC (American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination). She received her RN license from Castleton State University in Vermont. She has been certified as an LNA and MNA Instructor and most recently has been Supervising a preceptor site at NCMW for our future nurses and Medical Assistants.
Samantha has a strong background in Gerontology with 14 years of long-term care experience at Coos County Nursing Hospital in West Stewartstown, NH. She has maintained a supervisory/managerial role for more than 10 years and is currently the Clinical Nurse Manager at NCMW.
Samantha is a local who graduated from Colebrook Academy in 1997. She has remained in the area her entire life. She has a love for horses and spent most of her young life showing them around the U.S. She has a flare for the outdoors and most days can be found on the golf course. She lives with her significant other Edwin “Peter” and his son Colby and they have recently welcomed a new baby boy into their lives.
Karen Tierney, LPN
Karen has been a Nursing Professional for 41 years. She holds a BS in Health Care Management, from Granite State and LPN from Youville Hospital in Boston.
Native to Boston she has worked in Hospitals, Rehab Settings and Home Care. Karen’s clinical specialties include: Wound Care, Dialysis, Diabetes Management, Rehabilitation and Hospice Care. She also maintains a certificate as a medical coder.
Karen loves the outdoors and moved to Coos County in 2017. She lives with her husband Scott. They have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
Denise Normandin, RD, LD, MA, DipACLM
Denise has over two decades of experience as a Registered Dietitian, Nutrition Educator, Health Consultant and Coach. She is a board-certified Diplomate/Practitioner in Lifestyle Medicine by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM). Denise is a Licensed Dietitian through the States of New Hampshire and Maine. She has advanced Certificates of Training in Weight Management for Adults and Child/Adolescents from the Commission on Dietetics Registration.
Denise achieved a Master of Arts degree from Plymouth State University (PSU) in Personal and Organizational Wellness, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Colorado State University. She is nationally recognized by the Wellness Council of America as a Top 10 Health Promotion Professional. Denise is the founder of Enlighten Nutrition & Wellness and serves as adjunct faculty in Health & Human Performance at PSU. She is committed to building stronger, healthier individuals, families, and communities.
A native to NH, Denise lives in the Lakes Region with her husband and four children. She is an avid outdoor enthusiast, loves gardening, cooking, and spending time coaching and watching her kids play sports.
Sarah Dobson
Sarah has worked in the medical field for 10 years. She holds an Associate Degree in Human Services and is a Certified Professional Coder through AAPC.
She and her husband Randall live in Clarksville and have 7 children and 13 grandchildren.
Kathryn Martin, PA-C, MHS
“Kitty” graduated in 1984 from the Hahnemann University Physician Assistant Program in Philadelphia. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She later went on to earn her Master of Health Science Degree from Drexel University’s Physician Assistant Post-professional Master’s Program in 2011, along with a Graduate Certificate in Complementary and Integrative Therapies.
Kitty moved to Colebrook with her boyfriend Norman in 2012. They enjoy working together on improving their home and surrounding land. Kitty loves to take walks with her dog Tipper, who is a sweet German Short-haired Pointer. She also enjoys swimming in her pool in the summer.
Kitty sees patients at the Coos County Nursing Hospital in West Stewartstown, under the supervision of Dr. Fothergill, who is the Medical Director of that facility.
